He stated that he just could not endorse them because he never reviewed the final product and that he had no problems with people buying them. Honestly, I don't know what's going on with him and these reissues. His opinion appears to change from one interview to the next. I think the liner notes were so short because of TGW pulling out of them when he did. Maybe they didn't have time to do more since they already spent too much time making changes. ![]() I don't know but that's my only conclusion. I only have Morbid Tales and To Mega Therion from this series, but that's basically what the booklets consist of: lots of photos and the enthusiastic (though not terribly eloquent) musings of a music journalist/fan, discussing the history and context a bit, and describing each track. I think lyrics are included too? (I have to double check.) One thing the To Mega Therion liner notes seem to gloss over, though, is why bassist and co-founder Martin Eric Ain left the band just before they recorded the album. You can glean this by looking at the song credits and photos, but, unless I missed it, it doesn't seem to be discussed anywhere in the booklet. It's strange - he seemed to be heavily invested in the band, and he co-wrote much of the material, but then left just before they recorded what would become one of their most important releases. Why did he leave? Download Fly Fishing Simulator apk for PC/Mac/Windows 7,8,10. Choilieng.com helps you to install any apps/games available on Google Play Store. Here's what Tom says in regards to using the Tragic Serenades remixes for those 3 tracks on To Mega Therion: As for the the songs The Usurper, Jewel Throne, and Return To The Eve (1985 To Mega Therion studio jam version), we are using the takes for which Martin re-recorded the bass. I am not even sure if Dominic Steiner's bass tracks were retained when we did this at Harris John's studio. Using these takes is legitimate (and was also legitimate for the 1999 reissues) because this was the original intention by Celtic Frost in 1985. We had asked Noise Records for a complete remix of To Mega Therion, with the addition of new bass tracks. But we were only granted time and budget for three songs, which we then released as the Tragic Serenades EP. In tending to the current reissues, we were able to noticeably improve the sound of To Mega Therion, even for the tracks without Martin. I still think they should have included both versions on those songs. My 1998 CD of Morbid Tales contains the originally released mixes of 'Circle Of The Tyrants', 'Visual Agression' and 'Suicidal Winds' but the 1999 CD (and the current reissue of To Mega Therion) uses different mixes that were rejected by Noise at the time.
